A Great Book for Beginning Teachers!Reviewed by DJ, 2010-01-11
Although I am not a teacher quite yet; I am about to begin student
teaching this month, I found this book to be very useful. There is
a vast amount of information about teaching, everything from
classroom management, tips for providing motivation, how to create
effective lesson plans, and much more is all located in this book.
There are also some very helpful activity ideas, which are both
traditional (KWL charts, etc.) and more creative (using technology,
etc.).
If you have a question about teaching, I am sure you can find it in
this book. I am very happy I got this teacher resource - I know it
is going to come in handy very soon.

OK - could be helpful for someReviewed by Felting Mom, 2009-08-17
I am a second year teacher and was hoping this book would provide lots of great concrete ideas to use this year. Instead it is full of the same things found in other classroom management books, but with no real "wow" ideas. After a few days of reviewing its contents, I decided to sell it back on Amazon. More useful to me was "The Keys to the Classroom".

This is such a good book for new teachers who sometimes do not know how to manage some issues concerning teaching...

This item arived in less than a week. Impressive for a book, because for every school book I used to order, it would take 2-3-4 weeks or more. So THANKS for delivering "just a book" in a timely fashion.
